Action Research Being Developed
I have considered many options and discussed these with my site supervisor and I have decided to conduct my action research over "student tardies." This seems to be a hot topic in our school right now and I'm hoping that I can make an impact that will change how the students view hallway time.

ReplyDeleteI really like this action plan on tardies. today, parents do not like for their children to be disciplined by the school. I had a student years ago who repeatedly took things and I caught him. I went to the parents who did not correct the situation. The behavior continued and I discussed it with the parent again who stated "they never could break him of it." They were angry when it came down to an office referral because they felt that we should deal with it as they had for so long. It is really sad that many students do not have self discipline to do what is right for themselves or others. I cannot wait to see how your plan works out. It is really interesting to me.
